Shabnam Hashemi, BSN, RN, CPH, CCM, Vice President of Client Services joined AMI in 2012. She comes with nearly 30 years of experience in Healthcare. She has a hybrid background in Laboratory Science, Public Health, Infectious Diseases, Academic Research, Quality Management, Nursing, and Complimentary Medicine.
The positions she has held include Assistant Laboratory Manager at Massachusetts Institute of Technology Medical Department, Laboratory Supervisor at Boston University Maxwell Finland Research Laboratory for Infectious Diseases, Infection Control Practitioner at Rhode Island Hospital (Providence RI), Youville Hospital (Cambridge MA), Good Samaritan Hospital (Brockton MA), and as Infection Control Program Manager at Washington Hospital (Fremont CA) , as well as Hospice Care Manager at Epoch Hospice (Chestnut Hill MA). She has a Graduate Certificate in Public Health from Harvard University, and has collaborated on several published research projects.
Shabnam practices CAM therapies such as Reiki, Clinical Aromatherapy, Cranio-sacral therapy and Tong Ren. She is Board Certified in Medical Technology, and serves on the Board of Association for Nurses in AIDS Care (ANAC), RI and is a member of International chapters, as well as former Board member of the Oriental Culture Institute Foundation in Boston.
